How to Make a Poster Without a PC

A Newschool project; following on from Paddington Print Shop, this project details the production process, tools, tips and tricks required to produce a poster without using a computer - made without a computer.

The focus of this project was a previous, Paddington Print Shop, where posters where produced without a computer. Using the collected materials, the same hand made mood boards (from the books Fanzine and Paddington Print Shop) and the same computer free process, a zine was produced on how to produce a poster. It goes into design and content research, film photography, text production, tools and sketching. Aimed at the new generation of designers, as well as cultural historians and design activists. Outcome was 1x duotone zine (printed on 3 differing sugar paper stocks). Insight gained into cut and paste design, using a scalpel and typewriter.
